VA Home Loans

The VA Home Loan was created in 1944 by the United States government to help returning service members purchase homes without needing a down payment or excellent credit.  VA loans are issued by private lenders, such as a mortgage company or bank, and are guaranteed by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).

The VA helps Service Members, Veterans, and eligible surviving spouses become homeowners.  As part of their mission to serve you, they provide a home loan guaranty benefit and other housing-related programs to help you buy, build, repair, retain, or adapt a home for your own personal occupancy.  The VA will guarantee a loan to any active military or veteran that served the proper amount of time and meets program requirements.
